Kukukukuku

'Bebi', a name he had grown fond of the more he used it and even more when he heard others say it. Come to think of it, the voices he heard that complimented him on his name all came from his head. It entertained him and drove him crazier at the same time constantly. His only calm is when he was training, fighting, eating, screwing or when he was around nature. It was indeed strange how his mind worked. He was no genius, but he loved to fight and never back down from anyone regardless of the odds.

He sat under a tree; a beautiful cherry blossom which grew in abundance in the village. His legs were sprawled out and his arms hung limp at his sides. Beads of perspiration littered his body; well the parts of his skin that were not discolored from the burns and the stitches all over his body. Two katana leaned on the tree next to him, his other ninja equipment was with him, the only friends he ever had. His hair spiked and black. His eyes shifting periodically as he gazed at the pink cherry blossoms fall to the ground. He continued chuckling loudly to himself, like a lunatic.

Stop stop stop stop....

Crazier than usual, he starts to knock the back of his head on the trunk on the tree while still sitting upon the ground. These noises had to stop now as someone approached. He rose in a rather awkward way by pushing off his body with his head and neck and stood up with his hands in his pocket; his black jacket flapped gently in the passing wind. Cherry blossom petals drifted from their perch on the branches above him as they continued to decorate the lawn he stood on and the path to the stranger that approached his position.

He picked up his both katana and stuck them in his waist; more casually than he meant to, then rested his left forearm upon the handle and crossed his right forearm upon his left as it rested there as well. In his polluted mind, many thoughts swam about in it. His first was trying to count the amount of steps the stranger had to take before he reached him. Second, should he attack without warning or purpose? The thought tickled and excited him greatly. Third, it's been so long that he felt pain. He imagined it to be a strange sensation when experienced. And finally, he wondered if this man was just an ordinary street punk and if he was even capable of inflicting pain on Bebi.

As he observed his gait and his demeanor, this man could also be a shinobi; this must be confirmed.

"Ha ha...ho...hee..haha..ho. Walking all alone?" Said Bebi to the raven haired stranger as he gazed upon him with his blue glowing eyes. His 'laugh' was not a laugh at all. It was sarcastic and dry, meant to provoke and confuse others who were untrained as to what his intention was. He wished his persistent perspiration would stop, but his skin was terrible and it could not be helped.

"Quite frankly, you can take it how you wish." Replied Bebi as his index finger tapped the hilt of one of his katana that was tucked in his belt. Bebi's voice rasped and also sounded like he spoke from his nose; as it usually did since from the throat damage of the experiments on him. His blue glowing eyes while sunken, to the perceptive, they could see he was not the average person. His skin was persistent in sweating and he cursed it mentally.

"Don't tell me you're one of those that over think things right? I mean, have ya balls dropped off? Ya see a guy like me is severely misunderstood." Continued Bebi as he continued tapping his katana with his index finger. Completely disregarding the question of 'what are you doing out here?' He already weighed out this one. Bebi knew his own strength was not on par with anyone; at least not yet. However, he wanted to test this one as was a habit of his. See if he could make this one lose his cool. Even down to the finger tapping on the katana was meant to provoke and to maybe trick the Raven haired person in front of him, into thinking that Bebi was being agitated by his presence. Was Bebi evil? Maybe. He sure could be viewed as an antagonist to most;  even those that belong to the same village.

A different vibe was in the air. And the cherry blossoms that fluttered around them in the wind gave a ritualistic feel about this place. Bebi felt it, he felt the tenseness of the one that stood before him. Maybe now he would realise that this maybe was not a chance encounter, but one of fate. His body although was nowhere close to what he wanted it to be, he was strong enough to accomplish what he set out to do today.

Seeing the man draw his two katana, Bebi's temperature started to rise and he started to sweat more. As if on instinct, Bebi's left thumb pushed out his katana from it's sheath making the famous clicking sound of the seppa. Only the sword's habaki and a half inch of it's blade could be seen at first. Simultaneously, Bebi's right hand reached across his torso as his digits wrapped around the swords handle and slashed horizontally at the raven haired man in a ferocious manner.

This should wake him up.

It was a basic attack yes, but left unchecked, it had the potential to cut a human body into two. As with all spars, it was meant as a test. Just how far was this man's power gap to his own? Pretty great he would guess. All the same, Bebi was not the sort to back down. If he did not manage to get killed here, then many things he would accomplish to test this man further.

Ha..ho..he..ha, test the living hell outta ya.

Izanagi lead the way by unsheathing his blades. The man showed that he too was up for the challenge. This was most pleasing to the Uchiha. It would have been a bitter disappointment had he declined. At least now the Uchiha can test himself a little more. This too was important to Izanagi. How else will he come to know where he's lacking? In any event the Uchiha was prepared for his opponent's attack. The horizontal slash was intercepted by the katana in his left hand. The steel from both weapons caused sparks to fly. Now locked for but a moment, Izanagi pushed his left hand forth. There was a shove as the man used his strength. This action broke the deadlock. The Uchiha's weight shifted while swiping at the man's midsection. This was performed by the blade in his left hand.

The swipe was followed up by a thrust towards the centre of the man's chest. And while performing these actions, a smile crept onto Izanagi's face. He wondered if this will be a Bukijutsu contest. Or did this man have a few more bits to offer? The Uchiha was curious to see how his opponent would react to his attacks. The blade in his right hand was at the ready. Izanagi soon remembered his last spar. It was against someone from the Senju clan. A man of whom was far beyond his current level. The mission was to surpass that person. He was determined to do so one way or another.

Yes that's it. Remember how you was trained Bebi.

Bebi was indeed pushed back by the man's strength as his boots gripped the ground which made him stop.

Hook hook parry. Block hook hook parry. Use of swords was like a deadly dance. Instead of getting your feet stepped on when and if you make a mistake, in a swordfight, you and up dying or if you are lucky, you would not be fatally injured. The same rule of thumb applied here. Fuck around, and get fucked. As the raven haired man's sword in his left hand slashed at his mid section, Bebi ducked by leaning backwards using the sheer strength of his legs to keep his torso horizontal but off the ground by mere inches as he saw the blade pass over his face where just a second ago his mind section was. Now the raven haired man was within reach. The raven haired man's left hand attacked again, this time in a powerful thrust. Bebi was still partially horizontal from evading the first slash, and by the time the man thrusted forward with his sword in his left hand, Bebi's own sword in his right hand raced simultaneously in a wide arc in an attempt to cut the man into two. His movements were quick, more than he expected them to be. Being within the confines of a laboratory didn't not dull his skills it seemed. All it did was weaken him. Here now, under these cherry blossoms, he felt alive and invigorated once again. He could do this, he could survive.

Hahahaha. More! More! More!

This man had some skill. Bebi reflected on his own memories and for sure there were opponents that fell to far less effort than this. Bebi's excitement only grew with each clash of their weapons. His eyes were wide and there was a broad ferocious grin on his face as his blade crashed into his opponent's and was sent back with the momentum of the slash from his own blade. Bebi knew this movement was intentional to gain some room. It was something he used in combat up when facing someone who is of a good caliber.  It allowed you to gather yourself and think of another set of attacks and it was very useful.

Bebi straightened himself, his sword in his left hand just hung there from his now limp arm as he looked at the raven haired shinobi with his glowing blue eyes.

"He... ho ha ha." Chuckled Bebi giving in a bit to the man's wishes and allowed him to recollect himself. Bebi's 'laugh was not one at all. It was a declaration that there was no worry within Bebi's mind about dying. This was all a game to him and his laugh was meant to not only depict his severe sarcasm but to unsettle the untrained into thinking their efforts are being wasted in this fight since there movements and attacks have no effect on him.

"You're a disrespectful one eh? Not saying your full name. Maybe you are just ashamed of it." Said Bebi as he replied to the man saying his name of 'Izanagi', titling his head to the side with his weird grin on his face. His stitches starting to pull his skin and his sweating had stopped as it always did when he was excited. "But I'm of the Hagoromo clan. Hagoromo Bebi. Someday despite my appearance, I'm gonna change this world."

Both men used the temporary break in battle to size each other up. Izanagi's attention firmley set on his opponent. Meanwhile remaining aware of his surroundings. The eyes of the Uchiha fixated on his opponent. The man straightened up before releasing another of his chuckles. It was a little unnerving, but was marked up as one of the man's quirks. This could become a game of cat and mouse. The role of hunter and hunted will be determined very soon. Bebi's response to Izanagi's own introduction amused the Uchiha. A smile formed which showed he was enjoying himself. In hindsight, his decision to not share his family name suggested shame. But that was far from the truth as far as Izanagi was concerned. "Change the world eh? Well then Hagoromo Bebi, I hope your dreams come true". The man stated in response to Bebi. But he needed to address Bebi's earlier comments. "I would like to correct you on one thing. I'm not ashamed of my family's name. I intentionally withheld it from you. Why you ask? Hearing the name Uchiha can be terrifying, no?". The man finally said meanwhile activating his Sharingan. The three tomoes was put on display for Bebi to see it. Would his opponent now dare to look? It was nigh impossible to fight against the Sharingan for those not equipped to do it. Izanagi was now ready to carry on with the battle. The stakes had suddenly increased. He was desperate to find out what the Hagoromo were capable of. Bebi was certainly a strange one.

Bebi was a bit taken aback by Izanagi's words wishing him well on his dreams. Everyone else always said he was insane or too stupid or too repulsive to do anything. It was the first time that someone wished him well on his dreams. Even if it was a lie, Bebi's mentality was affected by his words as minuscule as they were. Bebi was intent on using this as a fuel to get what he wanted. He was intent on changing this world and there was nothing that was going to stop him. He was intent on making everyone in the world totally free. Free from the oppression of the ones that would take freedom from others.

As Bebi listened to Izanagi's words, he mentioned the word 'Uchiha' and asked if it struck terror in the hearts of man. it was true, that the mere uttering of the word Uchiha to some drove them to fear and madness. Looking into the eyes of an Uchiha as he heard in the legends meant death. Bebi cared nothing about death and tilted his head to the side as his eyes widened and his grin also widened when Izanagi's eyes turned crimson. From Bebi's lips escaped the sound of glee. The sound of a retarded person seeing a loved one. The sound could be classified as a moan but it was indeed glee.  

"Try to injure me...Uchiha Izanagi! Wooooooooo!" screamed Bebi at the top of his lungs.

Bebi put away his sword casually as he began the hand seals. He did not care to hurry, and just went along with his attack. He formed the hand seals. Snake, Rat, Dragon, Bird, Tiger. A steady but extensive stream of fire grew out from his mouth and widened at the end towards his opponent. It was a simple attack, yet, it was all part of his plan.

jutsu used:

Things were now beginning to get interesting. Izanagi revealed his Sharingan to his now opponent. Only for the man to challenge him further. Bebi was truly exceptional. Despite Izanagi's warning, the man decided to make a potentially fatal mistake. What consequences it will yield, is something the man was unsure of. What he did know was that Bebi was pushing his luck. The Uchiha was desperate to find out what Bebi had to offer. The Uchiha clan is a well know entity. The Hagoromo are said to be quite the enigma themselves. While infamous, they still remained mysterious. Often a bunch revelling in seclusion. Choosing not to include themselves in the affairs of men. Just what was their secret? It was probably best not to dwell on this. Izanagi's concern now was dealing with Bebi.

Izanagi was more than happy to honour Bebi's request. He felt this could be the start of something new. Bebi put away his weapon, albeit in a casual manner. This immediately prompted Izanagi to act. His Sharingan was the catalyst to this all. For Bebi, the Uchiha disappeared from sight. This was the illusion cast by Izanagi. The Uchiha was gone, and before Bebi could even complete two hand seals. The man was put in binds through the use of vines. His legs, arms, hands, feet, neck, torso was seized. Bebi was lifted into the air, meanwhile a bean pod appeared above Bebi now horizontal. The pod opened and revealed Izanagi with his blade in hand. Bebi's next sensation was Izanagi's blade slicing his arm off clean. It was brutal, lacking in mercy.

While Bebi was trapped in the illusion, Izanagi was already on the move. The moment Bebi succumbed to the illusion. The tip of the Uchiha's sword reach Bebi throat. There it rested, requiring a simple hand movement to pierce through it. In the meantime, Bebi experienced just what Izanagi prepared to do. His Katana pierced the man's throat, albeit in the illusion, which almost mirrored their reality.

Spoiler:

Bebi had replaced his weapon quite casually. He knew quite well he was going to pay for such complacency. As he began his attack with his hand seal, first then second seal was made. Suddenly, Izanagi disappeared while vines shot out from seemingly nowhere and wrapped themselves around the arms of Bebi.

What the fuck is this shit? Where is Izanagi!?

His entire body was increased and trapped at this point. He struggled but to no avail. He was then lifted into the air as a bean pod could be seen a foot away from his now suspended confines. As the bean sport opened, Izanagi was in waiting. Bebi chuckled as he saw him and was about to say something when Izanagi attacked and sliced his arm off. It was his left arm. How dare he cut Bebi's arm off?! Like what the fuck?! Bebi screamed from the pain but just got even angrier. Bebi was completely unaware that in reality! Izanagi's sword was at his throat.

Bebi by now felt the sensation of the blade piercing his throat. Whenever this happened it surely meant death for the victim. As far as Izanagi was concerned, this was a test for both him and Bebi. For Bebi, just how well will he be able to handle Genjutsu? And for Izanagi, just how good was he at casting them. The Sharingan was a massive help. Allowing the man to effectively cast illusions using his Sharingan only. The need for hand seals and so on wasn't necessary. His trigger is in fact the Sharingan, and a fully matured one at that. This was quite the dream scenario for the crimson eyed fiend. The blade pierced and drove itself through, exiting at the back of the neck. Izanagi's cross guard rested against Bebi's throat. Meanwhile the full length of the blade dripped with blood.

Izanagi could have quite easily kept up with this but saw no need. The Uchiha himself cancelled the illusion cast on Bebi. Now both men was once again face to face. Eye to eye so to speak as Bebi was brought back to reality. This reality being the tip of Izanagi's blade resting on his throat. "Earlier, ya asked me to try and cause some injuries to ya. Does this count? I suppose not. But did your experiment work? It was your intention to test the Sharingan, right?". This is what Izanagi deduced based on Bebi's earlier actions. Firstly, the man was quick to attack. This was evident during their earlier exchange. Bebi's acrobatics, his wide arc slash while being almost horizontal was impressive.

The man then suddenly decided to take a casual approach after seeing the Sharingan? Izanagi was not buying this. Whether or not the man was being paranoid was neither here nor there. He had his reasons and he couldn't be too careful. Assuming Bebi allowed him to speak. Izanagi followed up by backing off. His blade withdrawn from Bebi's throat, Izanagi now standing seven meters from the man. It was time for them to continue. Should Bebi try attempt anything else before this. He was running the risk of death. Such was Izanagi's killing intent for sure.

Izanagi had shoved his sword into Bebi's throat. He felt the blade shove against it at first then being pushed into him. Whatever was happening to him was receeding; yet the reality was not much better. For as he opened his eyes, Izanagi's blade was almost touching his throat and this time was his real throat. Not that dream world throat.

He was pleased though. He knew that the boy before him had not fully awakened his eye prowess fully otherwise he would be a dead man. The same could be said for Izanagi. Had the Hagoromo Glassman fully trained his might, then things would have turned out differently for the Uchiha. The saying was that a shinobi does not need to speak to get to know each other. They get to know each other through their fists. His goal was indeed accomplished here and looking at Izanagi's eyes he had a hunch the Uchiha knew this as well.

"You're a smart one Izanagi of the Uchiha clan." Said Bebi as he cracked his neck when he tilted his head to the side and straightened it back. "The eye illusions of the Sharingan. I got what I stayed here for. The next time we go head to head like this, I too will show you what I'm truly capable of."

There really was no need for them to continue. At least not now. Bebi was satisfied. Now he had an idea what he was up against. He would train accordingly and challenge him again. Bebi did not care if Izanagi was going to kill him next time. All he knew that with his mentality, Uchiha was going to get the fight of his life.

The end came and their time spent was short lived. Izanagi was looking forward to see what Bebi had to offer. But the Uchiha managed to win the first round. He had no doubt about meeting Bebi again in the future. The man nodded at Bebi as the Hagoromo clansman spoke. He appreciated what was said. The Uchiha figured that Bebi was hiding a great deal. There was now a definite need to grow stronger. Preparation was key, because now there was a rival. Izanagi will have to keep a close watch on this man. He was a little loopy, maybe touched in the head. His story must certainly be an interesting one. And the Uchiha hope to hear it some time. Their meeting and first spar wasn't something Bebi was about to forget. In the end the Sharingan prevailed, but Izanagi needed to get far better than he was now. His current level wasn't enough to cause a dent in the real world. Just what are his aspirations anyway? He was most certainly one to look out for. Imagine him as the leader of Hanagakure. Wouldn't that be something? Izanagi withdrew his Katana from the man's throat, allowing Bebi to leave the scene. His Katana blades were then sheathed before heading in the opposite direction. The Uchiha walked with a smile on his face. Knowing that Bebi will have something in store for him. He now needed to ensure that Bebi wasn't ahead of him. All he could do now was train and carry on. There was another man who needed to get his ass kicked. That Senju oh that Senju who gave him a beat down. This was something which plagued his mind but gave him strength. Evidence of this was shown in his Sharingan. His development from not having it, to a fully matured one. Izanagi figured that there was more to come from it.
