Kozai Gathers Herbs [mission,solo,nk]

Mission Details:

Being a medical shinobi of some expertise, Kozai was familiar enough with the workings of herbs in order to gather the ones needed for this stupid mission. Why couldn't they get a genin to do this again? She remembered being assigned pointless tasks like this as a genin, but her sense of duty was far too strong to allow her to refuse. Also, doing things for the herb gatherers of the village was certainly a good thing. Most of them, especially the ones from rural areas, were also skilled medical nin in their own right, just as she was, so there was no harm in forming connections.

While out on this particular expedition, Kozai came across some common plants used for antibiotics, but most importantly, she found a unique kind of palm that was popular with some herbalists for its.... well, certain properties. She decided she might keep some for herself after all, if everything went as planned with the kage the next time they met up. Indeed, a powerful medicine like this could very well keep her career in line as it had centuries of women before her. Although, she didn't even know if she'd need it at all. For all she knew, the kage could be someone as objective and focused as she was, which would make her job a lot easier.

Still, idle postulation would mean nothing. Might as well pick up a couple of more essential things and head back. Kozai went to a different part of the area and collected a few things meant for pain relieving (though a placebo was cheaper, she thought with some chagrin) as well as a few things that were good for constructing poultices for various burns. Ach, so simple. Still, these were all common battlefield injuries, so it couldn't be all bad in the end.
