Kozai Moves Round Objects [mission,solo,nk]

Mission Details:

Another day, another completely irrelevant task for the young woman. Nevertheless, there was no denying that there wasn't anyone else who was willing to take the job, at least up until this point. Maybe if she waited a day or two longer, some punk genin would come along and add this to a small pile of merits, but that was too long for her to wait. Time was always in short supply, and she didn't have much better to do in the first place. In this particular case, she had already finished with all the reports she needed to to do for the time being.

This mission apparently had two goals, despite its low rank. Amazing. She wondered if this "killer boar" was merely some jounin using the transformation technique to scare away the weak of heart, but she deemed it unlikely. After all, she'd probably have heard about it at some point, and she'd hadn't had a whisper about jokes of that kind. Well, a real wild pig it was, then. A mere beast was something she'd dealt with many times before, and she'd barely need to put out any effort for that. The boulder might be tough, but she'd get it done in the end.

She ventured out toward the area that was prescribed in the mission. The woods were deep and cool, the foliage above acting as cover for the sun. The ground was littered with fallen leaves and twigs, as well as patches of forest grass. She knew some of the peasants out around here smoked the stuff, but it was cheap and useless compared to the more cultivated stuff they grew further in the village. This place was a haven for crime, and it rankled a bit. Kozai preferred to keep a tight hold on such things.

After coming into the boar's territory, she sighed and began stomping her way towards the location of the boulder, being sure to make as much noise and commotion with her feet as possible. She'd decided to take care of the animal first so she could meditate without being disturbed. She probably wouldn't need the extra power to make the boulder move, but she wanted to get this done with quickly. To that end, she'd get rid of the boar first, as was tactically sound. They were supposedly the bane of modern civilian footbound messengers, but that was irrelevant as well.

Soon enough, the enraged snuffles of the boar were heard heading toward her. Kozai tossed her hair slightly in dismissal. Really, not that much of a threat. The deep wilds carried far more terrifying creatures, this was pretty much just an overgrown pig. Still, the tusks it bore were sharp killing tools nonetheless. The fact that it dared to bare them at her, though, was insufferable, despite the fact that she had provoked it by encroaching upon its territory. With a mere motion of her hand, a projectile of fire would emerge, slamming into the boar and incinerating it. Not even a thought was required from an expert of ninjutsu to deal with a mere beast.

The boulder, though, she'd probably have to pick up and toss away. No sense in allowing the shards to flow downstream and interfere with the milling process. After meditating for a few seconds, she entered sage mode and simply picked up the boulder, tossing it aside before destroying it by other means. For a few seconds, she had considered constructing a platform to get it out of there, but that was a silly and unnecessary thought that would only slow her down.
