Appearance: Shiro is a tall, thin boy who stands just shy of six feet and is waiting for his last growth spurt. Shiro is a spitting image of his clan, with a crop of shaggy white-silver hair and pale, porcelain skin. The only imperfection on his skin is the tattoo of his clan symbol, which he wears proudly over his left breast. When his Byakugan is not activated, the boy has light green eyes that constantly reflect his emotional state. If one knows Shiro well or pays close attention, they will see that Shiro's eyes appear to darken when he is angry or hyper focused on something and lighten when he is in a good mood or relaxed. It is one of his only tells when conversing with someone as he has learned how to hide any other mannerisms or body language that would be a giveaway to what he is thinking.

Shiro's attire takes after his clan, with long, loose fitting white clothing allowing for quick and easy movement at a moment's notice. Unlike the Royal Family's house of the Otsutsuki Clan, Shiro's robes have faint trims of a turquoise-green to show the color of his own house. The only jewelry Shiro wears are two gold bands on each wrist. They aren't of any particular value, but he likes the sound they make after he's executed one of his Gentle Fist style techniques. Often he moves faster than the sound, resulting in his opponent dropping just as the jingle of the gold metal rings out. The final piece of clothing Shiro sports is his village's forehead protector, which he wears around his neck rather than across his forehead.

Positive Personality Traits:
Carefree - Shiro is a relatively carefree man, or at least can pretend to be quite convincingly. He's a man that needs little in life to be happy and as such leads a relatively stress free life, confident everything always works out in the end.
Jovial - Shiro is one of those guys you want to go out and celebrate with after a successful mission. He knows how to party and he's always happy to celebrate a job well done, or anything for that matter. He's fun for others to be around when they need some time to just let loose and relax.
Goal Oriented - Similarly to being reliable, when Shiro is motivated, there's quite literally nothing that can stop him from achieving his goal. It might not be in the time frame he wants or the way he wants, but he will see it through whatever it is at the time.
Strong Willed - Shiro doesn't go down easily. He's a man who will rise time and time again, long after his enemy thought he was done. Through sheer willpower alone Shiro will always fight for both himself and those important to him. He does not stand down to a challenge and will not accept defeat so long as he's still breathing.
Street Smart - However, beneath all of this relaxed kindheartedness, Shiro is constantly calculating and analyzing the people around him. He rarely takes someone's word at face value, though he may pretend to so as to put that person at ease. He's a competent fighter and strategist with a promising future if he continues on the path he started.

Negative Personality Traits:
Lackadaisical - While Shiro is quite carefree, at times he can take this a bit far and be downright lazy. This usually has to do with things like paperwork or rudimentary missions he finds boring or below his pay grade. If Shiro doesn't want to do something, he'll find any excuse in the book and then some to avoid it.
Hatred of Cats - The boy hates cats. He likes most other animals but cats he sees as nothing less than the spawn of the devil himself. While he would never abuse a defenseless animal, he has no problem berating them for how selfish and terrible they are whenever given the opportunity.
Sarcastic - Shiro's default conversation mode is sarcasm. He has a dark sense of humor and doesn't care what people think of the things he says because as long as he's entertaining himself that's all that matters. Unfortunately this can, at times get him into a bit of trouble with the larger, more sensitive half of the population and the more noble of his clan look down upon such conversation.
Ruthless - While the majority of the time Shiro can be seen as a very carefree, relaxed person. When in combat or angered, his mood completely changes. Shiro is a ruthless fighter, willing to do whatever it takes to get what he needs from the enemy or win a battle. He has been known to step over the line, but cares little so long as he gets results.
Character History: Shiro was born into the Otsutsuki Clan's Arashi house, named after his great-great-great grandfather. While treated politely by the fellow clansmen, the Arashi carry a black mark from one of their ancestors. This black mark has proven to be a center point for closed door whispering and silent judgement within the clan, even to this day. It was said that one of their ancestors, Shiro's great-grandmother, had been an advisor to the clan head at the time. She had supposedly planned an assassination of the clan head, hoping to dethrone the Kaguya bloodline and usher in a new age for the Otsutsuki. When the attempt was thwarted and the assassins captured, they targeted Shiro's great-grandmother as the supposed conspirator though she claimed to the day of her execution that she had no idea about the assassination. House Arashi fell from grace, nearly banned from the clan altogether. They worked tirelessly for generations to regain trust and status within the clan. Only within the last generation has the clan begun to forgive and forget.

Shiro himself was born in Amegakure, a village House Arashi of the Otsutsuki has taken for their home. He is the oldest of two, with a sister ten years his junior and lives with his immediate family as well as grandmother, aunt and cousin. Like many Otsutsuki children, Shiro's parents were strict but loving. They wanted only the best for their eldest child and pushed him constantly to work harder and carry on not only the proud name of Otsutsuki, but House Arashi as well. As such, Shiro can count the number of times his parents hugged him collectively on one hand, but he lost count of the number of times his father repeated, "Again" while training somewhere in the tens of thousands.

As a result of his parents high expectations and lack of parental affection, Shiro learned to enjoy the little things in life and to live in the moment. He learned to not take life quite so seriously, possibly as a mild rebellion against his parents and possibly as a coping mechanism to deal with how serious his parents were. In the end, he did not hate the instruction and teachings his parents instilled in him. It made him stronger, faster and more disciplined than most shinobi his age, or even several years older than him. However, it did result in a sort of two Shiro dynamic. One being the fun-loving, free-spirited Shiro who could lounge about on a grassy hill all day and the other being the more serious, intense, ruthless but effective Shiro who would rip an enemy's spinal chord out through his throat without blinking.

Shiro is currently a D-rank student enrolled at the academy and studying to become a chunin, his journey is only just beginning.
