    Oikake Clan Empty Oikake Clan

Post by Kiseki Oikake Thu Nov 15, 2018 8:28 am

    Name: 追いかけ - Oikake
    Founder: Toushiro Oikake (Assumed)
    Location: Disbanded

    Allegiance: N/A
    History:
    {The former history of this clan has been lost in a violent excursion that occurred during a coup de grace attempted within the clan five years ago. They previously lived within the confines of Konohagakure's lands, yet remained private and withdrawn save when called upon by the Hokage. After the events of a plan that had been in the workings for years upon years, lower-ranking members of the clan staged a coup that ended up in a fight spanning out across the course of four days underground beneath the main household. Being a small clan, the casualty count was a truly devastating event that resulted in the bodies of the former head and dozens upon dozens of the main and branch families being found dead and almost unidentifiable. All members of this clan have since disbanded across the lands and no longer claim themselves as part of a "family". They simply retain their last names as homage to what they once were.}

All that is remembered in regards to this clan, due to their secretive ways, was that they were known as scholars and that they were observant individuals. They dabbled in a little of everything -- a jack of all, a master of none, and always sought out an expansion of their knowledge with as little contact with others as possible. Due to the downfall of their family and the utter spread of their remaining members, this no longer is the case with the loss of a leader and a goal in life. They simply integrate into whatever suits their fancy, and are best seen as "nomads of what might have been".

Requirements: At least two elemental releases. Any count. There are no other requirements. The members are to be RPed as individuals who have been scattered from their homelands and no longer have places to call their own.

    Special Info:
Prism Iris - The Oikake clan is unique for their eye color diversity. Their eyes never stay the same color and change and fluctuate consistently without reasoning behind it.
Spectral Vision - The Oikake clan is able to see the swirl and mold of chakra -- but not in ways like Byakugan, Sharingan, or any other doujutsu. No, rather, they can simply see what element is being merged into the chakra. It is presumed that this is in relation to their KKG to allow for Chasing.
    Clan Special Characteristics:
Elemental Awareness - Oikake clan members are able to witness the transposition of elemental blending in Chakra whenever any form of element is used, allowing the user to understand and recognize what it being used around them within a 50m radius. They are always aware of what type of Release is being used, even if it is an Advanced Release such as Dust. In cases such as these, their awareness will break down the component [base] elements and relay such information to them in that manner.
Relentless Chasing - With the nature of their Kekkei Genkai, Oikake members are able to push just a bit further in their chakra pools to give out one last burst, never wanting to stop their "hunt" to tag along their own abilities in fights with allies. They gain a +30 bonus to Chakra.
Name of the Kekkei Genkai: 一時的な追求 - Ichiji-tekina Tsuikyū - Transient Pursuit
    Type of Kekkei Genkai: Ninjutsu
Description: Transient Pursuit is not an Elemental Release, but rather a form of massive support / understanding of the elements that make up all ninjutsu. Fire, Earth, Water, Air, even ones such as Dark or Light. Their Kekkei Genkai focuses on "Chasing" these elements with their jutsu, allowing large bursts of chakra to seemingly vanish from the bodies of the users and into the atmosphere around them to create designated "fields". As a result, should the chosen result manifest within the confines of this field whilst it is active, the "Chasing" that comes after is what causes the Oikake to shine -- their after-effects that tail off of the simplest spark. A water drop, a snowflake, a breeze, a lick of a flame can cause a chain reaction like no other.

    Jutsu:

    Name: Pursuit of The Sun
    Rank: D
    Cost:  10
    Upkeep: N/A
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
Element: Chosen from Primary Releases available to user upon usage
[Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Water] OR Light/Dark
    Range: 50m
    Speed: 200
    Power: 0
    Handseals: Tiger - Monkey
Description: The user can activate this jutsu as a response to target a friendly attack or self-targeting buff to apply a single element to it. This does not cause elements to become Advanced Releases if they happen to create the combination for one.

Combination: This jutsu can be used to give allies a larger range of attacks as well as help with giving more buffs to their attacks by comboing it off of Chasing.

    Name: Hunt Down The Night
    Rank: D
    Cost:  10
    Upkeep: N/A
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
Element: Chosen from Primary Releases available to user upon usage
[Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Water] OR Light/Dark
    Range: 50m
    Speed: 200
    Power: 0
    Handseals: Tiger - Dragon
Description: The user can activate this jutsu as a response to target a friendly ally. The next elemental technique they use will type-shift to become a different element. If the ability has more than one type of element, the user determines with one is replaced. This ability has a secondary effect that can be optionally used by the user to allow them to "pay" for half of the cost of the next ability they use as long as it is of an elemental variety.

Combination: This jutsu can be used to give allies a way to bypass elemental immunities and help pay for techniques so their allies can last longer in a fight.

    Name: Hunter's Tenacity
    Rank: D
    Cost:  10
    Upkeep: 5 per round
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
Element: Chosen from Primary Releases available to user upon usage
[Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Water] OR Light/Dark
    Range: 100m
    Speed: 100
    Power: 0
    Handseals: Ox - Horse
Description: This Jutsu is purely for the benefit of the user and allies. Upon using this jutsu, an invisible dome is created within a 100m range of the user. Those inside of this range are enhanced by the chosen elements to allow immunity of environmental hazards relevant to the chosen element. These can only affect natural hazards and not ones formed by an active technique or weapon.

    Examples:
Fire: Desert heat, hot concrete against skin
Water: Marsh waters, acid rain, snow
    Wind: Heavy winds, toxic air
    Earth: Quicksand, Muddy terrain
Lightning: Thunderstorm, high-voltage areas, magnetic fields

Combination: This jutsu is simply to allow for ease of travel in dangerous terrains.

    Name: First Shade: Morning's Chasing
    Rank: C
    Cost:  30
Upkeep: 10 per round for a max of 5 rounds
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
Element: Chosen from Primary Releases available to user upon usage
    [Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Water]
    Range: 50m
    Speed: 100
    Power: 100
    Handseals: Tiger - Bird
Description: The user channels a portion of their chakra into an invisible "field" effect from their starting position that shows no visible effect when first cast other than the swell of Chakra around the designated range. This ability does not have any form of function on its own, but shines when it is paired up with any other type of attack. When any type of attack or technique using the designated Elemental Release is used while within its range, this jutsu will "Chase" after the attack, following and boosting the technique in particular by a certain amount of Power based on the rankings of the technique/jutsu/attack used.
    - D-Rank and under is boosted by a full 65 Power and 50 Speed.
    - C-Rank is boosted by 55 Power and 40 Speed.
    - B Rank is boosted by 45 Power and 30 Speed.
    - A Rank and above is boosted by 35 Power and 20 Speed.

Combination: This jutsu can obviously be stacked on top of itself to target different elements, but may only target primary elemental releases. This will instantly combo with any attack of the corresponding element to give it an immediate boost no matter where it is as long as it crosses within the range. If it is used multiple times to stack effect, the upkeep is increased by 5 each time until only one instance is active.

    Name: Second Shade: Noon's Chasing
    Rank: B
    Cost:  40
Upkeep: 10 per round for a max of 5 rounds
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
Element: Two Primary Elemental Releases [chosen at usage]
    Range: 50m
    Speed: 150
    Power: 150
Handseals: Tiger - Boar - Dog
Description: The user channels a portion of their chakra into an invisible "field" effect from their starting position that shows no visible effect when first cast other than the swell of Chakra around the designated range. This ability does not have any form of function on its own, but shines when it is paired up with any other type of attack. When any type of attack or technique using the designated Elemental Release is used while within its range, this jutsu will "Chase" after the attack, following and boosting the technique in particular by a certain amount of Power based on the rankings of the technique/jutsu/attack used.

This Chase becomes more advanced as its abilities activate on the same attack for every element it has -- such as with Ice Release as an advanced Release. Since it is made from Water and Wind, the boost on this ability will occur twice on abilities launched by it instead of once.

    - D-Rank and under is boosted by 75 Power and 55 Speed.
    - C-Rank is boosted by 65 Power and 45 Speed.
    - B Rank is boosted by 55 Power and 35 Speed.
    - A Rank and above is boosted by 45 Power and 25 Speed.

Combination: This jutsu can obviously be stacked on top of itself to target different elements, but may only target primary elemental releases. This will instantly combo with any attack of the corresponding element to give it an immediate boost no matter where it is as long as it crosses within the range. This one particularly favors Advanced Releases, giving more benefits for more elements involved in the Advanced Releases as a result. Advanced Releases refer to any Elemental Release that combines more than one Release together to form a new one. If it is used multiple times, the upkeep is increased by 10 each time until only one instance is active.

    Name: Third Shade: Evening's Chasing
    Rank: A
    Cost:  50
Upkeep: 15 per round for a max of 5 rounds
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
Element: Three Primary Elemental Releases [chosen at usage]
    Range: 50m
    Speed: 200
    Power: 200
Handseals: Tiger - Dragon - Snake - Ox
Description: The user channels a portion of their chakra into an invisible "field" effect from their starting position that shows no visible effect when first cast other than the swell of Chakra around the designated range. This ability does not have any form of function on its own, but shines when it is paired up with any other type of attack. When any type of attack or technique using the designated Elemental Release is used while within its range, this jutsu will "Chase" after the attack, following and boosting the technique in particular by a certain amount of Power based on the rankings of the technique/jutsu/attack used.

This Chase simply increases its efficacy from the Second Chase -- its abilities activate on the same attack for every element it has -- which officially allows it to have a more spread range across the types of Elemental Releases. This Chase, however, can now target alternative effects instead of the primary releases alone and now provides a bonus towards self-targeting buffs and status moves. As always, attacking techniques have bonuses gained as follows per element that is used while those particular elements are being Chased:
    - D-Rank and under is boosted by a 85 Power and 55 Speed.
    - C-Rank is boosted by 75 Power and 45 Speed.
    - B Rank is boosted by 65 Power and 35 Speed.
    - A Rank and above is boosted by 55 Power and 25 Speed.

However, the Chase, as mentioned, may now assist in reinforcing buff-type moves [LRA, speed buffs, strength buffs, etc.] The limitation is that these buffs must contain at least one elemental release that is being Chased in order to be affected by the jutsu.
    - D-Rank and under is boosted by 80 Power.
    - C-Rank is boosted by 70 Power.
    - B-Rank is boosted by 60 Power.
    - A-Rank and above is boosted by 50 Power.

And now, it adds onto buffs! If it is used multiple times, the upkeep is increased by 15 each time while more than one instance is active.

    Name: Fourth Shade: Night's Chasing
    Rank: A
    Cost:  60
Upkeep: 15 per round for a max of 5 rounds
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
Element: Four Primary Elemental Releases [chosen at usage]
    Range: 50m
    Speed: 400
    Power: *
Handseals: Hare - Ox - Monkey
Description: This is where the Chasing becomes something different. This portion of the Chase no longer focuses on boosting. Instead, this ability begins to mimic the very elements it once supported. Whenever an elemental attack is set off within the range of this Jutsu, a copy of it will occur within 5m of where it originated. This copy will always have half of the power of the original attack but can benefit from other Chases that may be affecting the same area. The user may control where these attacks go. They will not receive understanding of the nature of the attack beyond their elemental make-up.

Combination: Obvious usage includes this being the only offensive technique available to Oikake. This is also their bread-and-butter for being able to contribute damage without other sources for allies. If more than one instance is up, the upkeep is increased by 15 per instance until only one is active again.

    Name: Prismatic Shade: Dawn's Chasing
    Rank: S
    Cost:  70
Upkeep: 20 per round for a max of 5 rounds
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
    Element: All Five Primary Releases
    Range: 50m
    Speed: 500
    Power: 0
Handseals: Hare - Ox - Monkey - Horse - Rat
Description: This is where the Chasing becomes something different. Instead of becoming a simple follow-up attack, this jutsu directly affects chosen targets while active. Until the duration of this technique ends, the target gains damage reduction against all elements chosen by this Chase. The single primary Elemental Release that is not chosen becomes the chosen "weakness" and will override all over elements in the event of an Advanced Release targeting them. This damage reduction decreases the Power of jutsus that hit the individual by 50. The chosen weakness is increased by 50 in Power in compensation.
Example: Fire, Wind, Lightning, and Water are chosen as the Primary Elemental Releases. This means that Earth is the "weakness". Attacks that hit the affected targets that include these elements was reduced by 50. Any attacks that have Earth Release inside of their make-up [I.E., Crystal] will instead prioritize the 50 Power increase.

To receive this effect, the individual MUST be within the range of the jutsu.

Combination: This ability can stack on top of other defensive abilities. If this ability specifically is used more than once, the upkeep is increased by 20 per instance until only one is active.

Oikake Clan Empty Re: Oikake Clan

Post by Uchiha Izanagi Thu Nov 15, 2018 4:05 pm

First Shade: Morning's Chasing: This should require extra chakra when stacking attacks. Increase upkeep to 10 please.

Second Shade: Noon's Chasing: Same as above. When dealing with Advance release, I assume two elements will chase after it?

Third Shade: Evening's Chasing: Increase upkeep to 15 please. And same rules apply, chakra costs and all that for stacking.

Fourth Shade: Night's Chasing: Increase upkeep to 15 please. And same deal again with stacking and chakra cost etc.

Prismatic Shade: Dawn's Chasing: 20 upkeep please. Same idea for stacking, means more chakra.

Looks cool. Nice concept, especially for a support type ability.

Oikake Clan Empty Re: Oikake Clan

Post by Kiseki Oikake Thu Nov 15, 2018 6:53 pm

    1. All upkeep updated appropriately.

    2. Added two new D-Rank Techniques: Hunt Down The Night and Hunter's Tenacity.

    3. Added cumulative upkeep cost for multiple instances of stackable Jutsus.

    4. Yes. Second and Third Chases activate per Element involved.

    5. Fourth Shade: Night's Chase is being changed due to an error that caused Prismatic to copy over the original.

    6. Added new C-Rank Technique: Seeker's Respite.

Oikake Clan Empty Re: Oikake Clan

Hunter's Tenacity: At only D-rank, this is looking like its protecting from everything. It needs a limit of sorts. Otherwise its rendering other attacks and elements somewhat useless.

Seeker's Respite: This one is doing too much to be approved as is. Cleansing Genjutsu, giving chakra, enhancing strength. While minimal, its too much for a C-rank jutsu. Even at an higher rank it would be debatable.

    Other stuff approved.

When any type of attack or technique using the designated Elemental Release is used while within its range, this jutsu will "Chase" after the attack, following and boosting the the technique in particular by a certain amount of Power based on the rankings of the technique/jutsu/attack used.

If it is used multiple times, the upkeep is infreased by 10 each time until only one instance is active.

    Name: Third Shade: Evening's Chasing
    Rank: A
    Cost:  50
Upkeep: 15 per round for a max of 5 rounds
    Type: Support-Type Ninjutsu
Element: Three Primary Elemental Releases [chosen at usage]
    Range: 50m
    Speed: 200
    Power: 200
Handseals: Tiger - Dragon - Snake - Ox

This copy will always have half of the power of the original attack but can benefit from other Chases that may be effecting the same area. The user may control where these attacks go. They will not receive understanding of the nature of the attack beyond their elemental make-up.

Combination: Obvious usage includes this being the only offensive technique available to Oikake. This is also their bread-and-butter for being able to contribute damage without other sources for allies. If more than one instance is up, the upkeep is increased by 15 per instance until pnly one is active again.

To receive this affect, the individual MUST be within the range of the jutsu.

Combination: This ability can stack on top of other defensive abilities. If this ability specifically is used more than once, the upkeep is increased by 20 per instance until only one is active.

    APPROVED.
