Lake's Edge Therapy Empty Lake's Edge Therapy

Post by Noet Fri Feb 15, 2019 10:09 pm

In modern day Amegakure no Sato has grown to become the industrial mecca of the shinobi world leading most, if not all, other villages in their exportation of shinobi tools and weaponry. A melting pot of the three former so called "great" nations, Amegakure's residents came from all backgrounds of life from across the planet bringing with them talents and tricks of the trade unique to their region. It was because of its people that made Amegakure no Sato rich, both economically and in pride to be a citizen, regardless of what little plot of land that lay at the heart of the lake's center.

Nōet was no stranger to visiting the lake. Just on the other side from the village the brush grew thick into a progressively dense forest in the outer lands within Hi no Ame. Six years he was isolated from humanity in the wilderness, but he was not alone for among the prime apes he became respected to a degree and was known as the "hairless chimp". From time to time when work permitted him to, Nōet ditched his own since of humanity and returned to a more feral state of mind as he brought upon. The act of becoming one with nature once again was therapeutic for the young kage, amidst the responsibilities that came with his title he was still juggling those thoughts while being biologically human to some extent. Stress management wasn't his strong suit and most didn't recount telling of his bad days, however many of them there were at this point.

The sound of Amegakure's shipping vessel, dubbed "The Blue Angel", echoed off into the forestry causing Nōet's other family to go into a frenzy of hooting and hollering. No, it was not due to fear caused by modern man's machinery as was thought by the boat's captain who nearly stumbled over his own crew at the sound in response, but instead they cried out knowing that the boat's call meant Nōet's departure. Without fail a crimson hue would befall his cheeks and instantly the cries turned to laughter as many wove the hand signs for "baby" while pointing at the young kage making a mockery of his embarrassment, he could only chuckle while waiving them good bye upon taking his exit toward the lake.

If there was anything he learned from both the human world and the animal kingdom, it was that family was family and all that it took was something in common to create a bond. Standing on the edge of the tree line, as he did on that same spot thirteen years ago,  Nōet placed his hand on the trunk of the tree whilst keeping his feet concentrated with chakra to ensure his position on the branch. Exactly thirty three feet high, a numerical value in succession he found lucky to his everyday life, the young kage reapplied the seal to his "Flying Thunder God Technique" so that no matter what happened he would not be too far away from his first family.

Once again the steamboat called and the same response beckoned from not only the apes but many of the animals who called the areas undisturbed by human establishment home. It wouldn't be until Nōet had boarded the vessel and pushed off from the port did he look back with a smile upon his face. With one final bellowing of monstrous tones from the man himself at returning their call his therapy session would come to a close. The beast lulled into a lucid trance depicting himself as a head of state responsible for the life of thousands, ironic.
