How to Earn Ryo
There are various ways to attain Ryo and this is a short description of what you can do to attain Ryo.
Missions: Missions might be the best way for you to attain Ryo on our site.
Transfers: You can have someone (maybe a friend) send you Ryo to help you out. You may under no circumstance send yourself Ryo (IE. From one character to one of your other characters.)
Events: Events also pay out both Exp (used for buying stats etc) and Ryo as a reward depending on the event specifics. Usually events will also have a bigger reward such as one of the Seven Swords of the Mist (SSM), or a mass payment to your clan if your clan won the event.
Posting: 200 Ryo will be granted per 500 words written by a poster in non-mission/training threads. Any words that passed the mission or training requirement may receive this reward as well. If you're found abusing this system, you will be penalised.
Other: There could be other ways to attain Ryo however they must be approved by an admin. These "other" methods include things which are not listed in the above descriptions.
Starting Skill Points
Here on The Clan Wars we use a unique Skill system composed of tiers and a bit of stats for physical prowess. There are 7 categories or Skills into which you may train, mainly called Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Bukijutsu, Fuinjutsu, Kugujutsu and Medical Ninjutsu. In order to better your specs you'll have to accumulate points and distribute those points amongst your specs in which ever way you please. These points are called Skill Points.
Starting Skill Points: These are the amount of skill points your character may start with, depending on their rank.
- D-rank: 8
- C-rank: 10
- B-rank: 12
- A-rank: 14
- Village Leader/S-rank: 16[Other S-rank]: 16
Bonus:
+1 Skill Point if you start with no clan.
+1 Skill Point if you start without an element.
Upon Ranking up you receive +2 Skill Points.
One may buy Skill Points for 5,000 Ryo each. However, you can only purchase a Maximum of two Skill Points.
Starter Pack
The Starter Pack covers basic Weaponry and basic Academy level Jutsus. It should be noted that all canon E-rank Jutsus are free for each role player when they create their characters. This means you don't have to pay any Ryo amounts for these techniques.
These Jutsus and skills includes:
Henge no Jutsu- Transformation Technique
Bunshin no Jutsu- Clone Technique
Kawarimi no Jutsu- Body Replacement/Substitution Technique
Cloak of Invisibility Technique
Rope Escape Technique
There is also a starter pack for basic weaponry and this includes:
10x Shurikens
10x Kunai
10x Senbon
2 Basic Katana
20 Meters of Wire
1 Nail File
The above must be claimed as part of your character update. Either at the time of your first update or at some point, otherwise usage of the above skills, jutsus and weaponry will be null and void.
Starting Ryo
Each character starts off with a set amount of Ryo according to their rank. The higher your starting rank, the higher your starting currency will be. These starting Ryo can be used for anything, though we suggest you use it for techniques and items to get you started.
D-rank: 3,500x2 Ryo[Gains double starting Ryo]
C-rank: 5,800 Ryo
B-rank: 7,000 Ryo
A-rank: 10,000 Ryo
S-rank: 12,000 Ryo
Jutsu Cost: The following is the amount of Ryo which jutsu cost to buy. Upon purchasing a jutsu with Ryo, your character automatically learns it.
E-rank: 50 Ryo
D-rank: 100 Ryo
C-rank: 150 Ryo
B-rank: 250 Ryo
A-rank: 500 Ryo
S-rank: 1000 Ryo
SS-rank: 7,000 Ryo
X-rank: 10,000 Ryo
Element Cost:
- First Element: 1,000 Ryo→@ E & D-rank= 1 Element allowed.
- Second Element: 2,500 Ryo→ @ C-rank up to two Elements max.
- Third Element: 6,000 Ryo→@ B-rank up to three Elements max.
- Fourth Element: 9,000 Ryo→@ A-rank up to four Elements max.
- Fifth Element: 10,000 Ryo→ @ S-rank and above all five basic Chakra natures.
The costs above are the same for your character as well as for your summons. Buying an element for a summon does not mean all your summons get the element - the cost remains per element.
Advanced Release Cost:
- First Advanced Release Element: 1,750 Ryo (500 Ryo if it is your clan's advanced release.)
- Second Advanced Release Element: 2,400 Ryo
- Third Advanced Release Element: 3,500 Ryo
- Fourth Advanced Release Element: 5,000 Ryo
- Fifth Advanced Release Element: 6,000 Ryo
In order to purchase an Advanced Release Element, you first need to successfully implant the KKG which gives you that Advanced Release Element (IE. Senju will give you Wood Release.) You also need to have both the Elements which make up said Advanced Release Element (IE. Wood Release requires Water/Suiton and Earth/Doton.) The costs above are the same for your own character as well as your own summon's Advanced Release Element. The cost is per character/summon, buying one will not give all your summons the element you bought.
