    Thrown Weapons & Projectile Guide TW-P

    This is a basic guide explaining how thrown weapons and projectiles work here on Clan Wars. The formulas for calculating each of these aspects of ranged combat are simple and easy to follow. If you have any questions regarding the application or use of these types of weapons In-Character (IC), do not hesitate to ask a moderator or administrator for assistance.

    Thrown Weapons: Thrown weapons can include anything from kunai, to shuriken, senbon and even rocks. These are classified as any item that is thrown from the hand directly. Unique aspects of things such as techniques (Chakra-Enhanced Strength) can alter these calculations, and as such, should be considered beforehand.

    Thrown Weapon Breakdown:
    Power: Power is equal to the Strength of the user throwing the weapon.
    Speed: Speed is equal to 50% of the power used to throw.
    Range: Range is equal to 25% of the power used to throw.

    Formula Breakdown (Explained):
    If I throw a weapon with 300 Strength, for example, the formula for Power/Speed/Range would yield the following results.

    Power = 300
    Speed = 150 (300 x 0.50 = 150)
    Range = 75 Meters (300 x 0.25 = 75)

    Projectile Weapons: Projectile weapons are considered any type of weapon that is fired, or released from, another type of item. These can include bows, guns, cannons or any other type of item that can launch or fire a projectile. Unique aspects of the weapon being used to fire the projectile can alter these calculations, and as such, should be considered beforehand.

    Projectile Weapon Breakdown:
    Power: Power is equal to the Power of the projectile (Arrow, Cannonball, etc.)
    Speed: Speed is equal to 60% of the Power of the projectile.
    Range: Range is equal to 30% of the Power of the projectile.

    Formula Breakdown (Explained):
    If I were to fire an arrow from a basic bow, whose Power rating is 300, the formula for Power/Speed/Range would yield the following results.

    Power = 300
    Speed = 180 (300 x 0.60 = 180)
    Range = 90 Meters (300 x 0.30 = 90)
