Description: After years of training with his Byakugan and the Eight Trigrams fighting style, Shiro has developed a more defensive fighting style he uses in combination with the offensive styles of his clan. By reading his opponent's movements with his Byakugan, Shiro is able to react to their attacks, dodging and intercepting with his bare hands. He generally does this with open palm strikes and rather than meeting attacks head on in a power struggle, Shiro will sidestep attackers, striking at the weak points of the body (joints like wrists, ankles, elbows, etc.) and literally pushing attacks away. This works well for users of Taijutsu as well as Bukijutsu. While Eight Trigrams tends to focus on attacking the chakra system, the Interception Style focuses on defending by attacking the human body.

Description: One of the trademark skills of the Interception Fist Style, simple in nature but devastating in practice. The user simply relaxes his body while fighting, allowing it to move freely as if it were paper. This does not allow the user to bend or contort in inhuman ways, but simply allows him to dodge more easily by becoming more flexible. From the outside looking at the user, it appears as if the user is just barely dodging attacks, moving his body along with the direction of the attacker at the absolute last second to open the attacker for a counter.

Description: One of the main techniques in the Interception Fist style, mainly used as a defensive technique to redirect an incoming attack. The user opens his palm and strikes the target from the side, usually hitting the joints of the arm or leg, thus pushing it away from the user rather than trying to stop it all together. Due to targeting weak joints, this technique has the potential to break bones and causing blunt force trauma. This technique can also be used on weapons, not damaging the user as he simply pushes the weapon away rather than trying to stop it with his bare hands.

Description: The user completes the handseals, creating a cyclone of wind around him. Unlike most cyclones however, rather than blowing wind outward, it creates a vacuum which draws opponents towards the target. People within the 25m radius of the technique require at least 210+ power to resist the pull of the cyclone. If they lack the required power, anyone caught in the cyclone will not only be damaged by the intense winds, but pulled off their feet and towards the user at rapid speeds. Those who are able to stay grounded still received damage from the high winds. This technique is often used to knock opponents off their feet, leaving them wide open for taijutsu combos.
