New Plot: The Sins of the Father

The War
It has been 80 years since the war…

The war in which the greatest heroes and villains mankind has ever known until this point clashed heads in one final bout. The aftermath produced a confused peace that has lasted ever since, and yet the scars from which can still be found all around the world, and in the hearts of those intimately linked to the events of that war.

In those days, the Ootsutsuki clan still walked among men, with the charismatic son of Abraxus - Kurotsuchi, as their king. The time came when the sons of men were fed up with living amongst the alien tribe and banded together to force them out. Setoshi Soichiro, Kikato Rinku and Jianyu Uchiha came together to form a league of nations. This league represented united humanity in a coordinated effort to rid the world of extraterrestrial life.

The Ootsutsuki had finally found a world/dimension they could repopulate to and began opening portals and siphoning members off to it when the three kings and their armies marched into their territory; war began. Kagura Ootsutsuki, the commander of Kurotsuchi’s legions, hurriedly escorted the sovereign and his family into the portal but Kurotsuchi refused to leave his people undefended. Heiki Geishi is what Setoshi called it, and they possessed seven out of nine tailed beasts at their disposal, two belonging to the Ootsutsuki at the time. The war lasted three days and heroes and villains alike were slain, the world left in ashes. The Uchiha and Ootsutsuki were the main ground forces that fought, with the well protected fortress of the Ootsutsuki giving them the aid of advanced weaponry.
It was a stalemate for the first half of the battle until Jianyu unleashed the various tailed beasts he controlled. It seemed as though Kurotsuchi and the rest of his army would be wiped out when the unexpected happened; Mithranidr. The strange traveler that was enemy to the Ootsutsuki prince and yet whose intentions remain mysterious to most, intervened on behalf of his foe. The battle now took on global consequences as the most powerful beings on the planet clashed. Setoshi, Jianyu and Kikato verses Mithrandir Kurotsuchi and Kagura. Jianyu fought toe to toe with Kagura until both appeared to be at max power. Kodoku, a minor officer in Heiki Geishi was killed by Kagura during this bout. Jianyu, however bested the Ootsutsuki general. Having three tailed beasts at his disposal and being a master tactician, he depleted Kagura’s reserves and went on to kill him.
Meanwhile Kikato Rinku and Neah Senju took on Mithrandir. Having Haruto’s body, Kikato felt he had the responsibility to kill him. Kikato fought alongside Neah and a tailed beast, the battle taking place in the woods of Konoha. In the end Mithrandir prevailed, though surprised at the challenge the Hokage posed to him. Kikato and Neah died in this battle, the eight tails incapacitated.
Finally, Setoshi Soichiro and Kurotsuchi took to fighting in the Ootsutsuki palace. Setoshi carried a special hatred for Kurotsuchi, as well as uniquely made puppets designed to kill people with his KKG. Their battle leveled the palace as well as the grounds around it. There was a pause in the fight when Kurotsuchi sensed that Kagura had been killed, causing him to uncharacteristically go into a fit of rage. In doing so, he slew two tailed beasts and four of Setoshi’s puppets. In the meantime, the leader of Heiki Geishi continued his puruit, determined not to allow Kuro or any more Ootsutsuki to escape through the now diminishing portal to their new world. Jianyu came into the picture at this time, seeking to close the portal that existed atop a mountain just behind where the Ootsutsuki palace was. While Setoshi and Kurotsuchi fought, Jianyu appeared in the valley of that mountain, where the remaining Ootsutsuki were escaping into the portal. Slaying the majority of them, he finally reached the portal wherein he prepared to close it. Just before, however, he was met with Mithrandir. The two clashed in a fight and neither were never seen again.  Meanwhile, Setoshi encroached upon Kurtsuchi, ready to deal what he believed would be the finishing blow. Right before, however, the Ootsutsuki prince vanished with FTG as the palace was reduced to dust by Setoshi's final attack.


In the years that followed…

The Ootsutsuki were gone… Setoshi Soichiro led the world into a new and balanced era of peace. It was said that Kurotsuchi had been slain in battle by Setoshi, and that the other alien had either escaped with the other Ootsutsuki or been killed himself. A worldwide memorial was held for Kikato Rinku, and the solitary clans of the time joined in with the new village system. The nations rebuilt equally, and humanity shared a special unity by being able to blame a common enemy; the aliens.

It would appear, however, that this peace has come to an end…

The Rain:

Each week, there will be more information revealed as to the intentions and identity/history of the antagonists. Each week a segment will be posted IC format of what is going on with them behind the scenes giving clues as to what is really going on. In addition, there will be various quests and mini-events every week or so as they attempt to further their plan and reveal to the world who they truly are.
