Genjutsu Techniques that works over multiple turns requires an upkeep cost to maintain it. Jutsu are expected to have an established upkeep cost. In addition to those, for everyone person targeted In Character beyond the count of one, costs an extra 5 Chakra per extra person.
Breaking Genjutsu with Kai: You break gen by using Genjutsu Kai in accordance with your gen points. Genjutsu kai allows you to pay the chakra amount equal amount to the rank of the technique that you are under. However you may only do this with techniques that are equal to or less than the amount of Gen Points you have. So I have 300 gen points, and I am hit with a B rank genjutsu that has 300 in power, I may use gen kai to overcome it by paying the amount of chakra for a B rank technique. If it is 150pts more than my Gen points, I cannot break it by this method. Genjutsu Kai is not automatic, you must first recognised that you're in a Genjutsu. Targets pay equal chakra cost to jutsus being used against them. Where Genjutsu Kai is not possible, then follow the pain process.

Description: As the name suggests, the user binds the opponent in a genjutsu, rendering them incapable of movement. This genjutsu can be used on more than one target at the same time. Once the target is bound, the user or an ally can rush up to the enemy and deliver a devastating killing blow. +100 strength above Genjutsu power required to break the physical binding. The Genjutsu can be broken using other methods. This Genjutsu has an area of effect trigger and also a visual trigger. The user can choose to employ either. The user can use the formation of handseals at the visual trigger. Targets stepping into an area of 15 meters to the user can fall prey to the Genjutsu. The user must have formed the necessary handseals prior to this.

- Master | With this level of skill in Bukijutsu many know to fear you. By now you're able to use E, D, C, B and even A ranked Bukijutsu techniques without a problem. In fact, with your great chakra control your Bukijutsu techniques gain a 30% chakra discount. Can use S-rank weapons and carry eight kinds of weapons. You gain +40 stats which you can split between Speed or Strength.
Subcategories
Some types of weapons are used often enough in Naruto to be considered a specialised discipline within the broader "bukijutsu" classification: Below are the different subcategories of Bukijutsu. Only up to five specialisation can be chosen from below. Your character's Bukijutsu skill level will also determine the amounts that can be used.
Your character's Bukijutsu skill level will determine how many you can specialise in. For example, at Novice level you can only choose one sub type. And can also only use D-rank skills and jutsus related.
The higher your skill level, the more you can do. With three skill point you can choose three sub type. Your character will max out at five sub type. Meaning your character will have god level skill at this point.
►Kyūjutsu (弓術, Literally meaning: Bow Technique). Bow and arrows are used very rarely in Naruto, and when they are they are typically some sort of chakra-based substance that is formed during combat rather than carried into it; examples include Sasuke Uchiha's Susanoo and Kidōmaru's Spider War Bow: Terrible Split. Must have Kyujutsu as a Bukijutsu specialisation to use a bow and create techniques higher than D-rank.
►Kenjutsu" (剣術, Literally meaning: Sword Technique). It is one of the more common weapons used in Naruto, being especially popular amongst ninja of Kumogakure and Kirigakure; the latter is even famous for its Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. To be able to use Kenjutsu techniques above D-rank, then Kenjutsu must be one of your Bukijutsu specialisation. Otherwise, your character may be seen as a novice. And in all likelihood will be outclassed by someone who specialises in this. Kenjutsu covers the use of Tanto and chakra blades such as Asuma's.
►Kayakujutsu (火薬術, Literally meaning: Gunpowder Techniques). Hanzō's fighting style makes a heavier use of explosive tags than most ninja, combining them with his Fire Release to create crippling techniques. The use of explosive tags, whether as traps or as ways to make projectiles deadlier, is similar to the real world "kayakujutsu". Most Shinobi will use explosive tags and so on. However, to use any real combinations etc. Then your character must specialise in Kayakujutsu. With this your character can create unique techniques. And may also create explosive tags etc that are more potent compared to the norm. Must choose this Bukijutsu specialisation to perform the above.
►Shurikenjutsu (手裏剣術, Literally meaning: sword hidden in the hand techniques). All ninja are taught some amount of shurikenjutsu from a young age, with members of the Uchiha clan being noted specialists. Even those who without any special propensity for shurikenjutsu keep a supply of shuriken and kunai with them for every mission. All Shinobi/Samurai has some basic skill in this. But to use anything higher than D-rank, then Shurikenjutsu must be one of your Bukijutsu specialisations. Shurikenjutsu covers the creation of weapons that are thrown etc.
- About Stats:
- TIERS
For the sake of simplification in other systems and references to stats, we will also be using the term "Tiers" to represent someone's Zone of power. People within the same tier are roughly similar in general scope of ability in a given stat. Your tier in a given stat, is roughly how
TIER 1 - 50-100 stats - You have very basic abilities, though still noticeable. Likely not yet strong enough in this stat to utilize it in battle very much.
TIER 2 - 101-200 - You are strong in this stat, and now can be used as a battle advantage.
TIER 3 - 201-300 - Now you are comparable to a Clan leader in this stat, and likely to be considered among the elite.
TIER 4 - 301-400 - In this tier you are respected and even feared for your prowess in this stat; and it is you distinguishing power.
TIER 5 - 401-500+ - At this level, your power is great enough to strike terror in armies. Your power is considered to almost be fairy tale like, and to intimidate most into not wanting to even fight you. Anyone at this level in a stat is truly a monster.
If you are within the same tier as someone, there is not a massive difference between you two in the particular characteristic. This is common sense, but we want to outline this so that people understand the importance of quantified power, but not at the expense of simplicity in rp. Reference to "Tiers" will/ can be used in techniques and other systems.
STRENGTH
Strength is how much physical power your body can produce. This includes striking a blow, lifting an object, or overall ability to produce and apply force to another object. The following descriptions will be comparisons of how stats on this site compare with characters from Naruto, and secondly to real life examples.
SPEED
Speed covers all kind of speed. Hand speed, foot speed, reaction speed, even thought speed if you want to go that far. How fast you are able to do something, and how explosively is determined by speed.
ENDURANCE
Endurance covers how much you can take. Now, the human body obviously is still the human body, but in Naruto people are super-human and therefore are much more physically capable than you would think. Endurance does not tell us simply how hard it is to wound you, but also how you deal with being wounded. People with greater endurance have higher tolerance for poisons. They also are, indeed, harder to wound. Though at some point most people will need something to shield them to reach a level of endurance. Endurance follows largely parallel to the strength system, in that the more endurance you have, the more you are able to "tank".
The general rule for endurance is this; whatever someone of equal strength can lift, you can tank.
CHAKRA
Everyone has chakra, its the basis of the site, we assume everyone has roughly the same chakra, generic as you might think it is. It is only until we get into the chakra system that begin to understand the realize the complex ways chakra interacts with the body. Here on our site, we strive for something different, we want to engage our members and allow them creativity to play their characters as they see fit. The chakra system allows us to do just that, in a way that promote healthy growth. Chakra stat is, like all stats, not set in stone. We have an estimate of how much techniques cost etc. but this is subject to change via situation. Always keep in mind the IC activity and strategy trump's all. However, we use a chakra stat to keep players responsible for how they use jutsu in battle, to have an appreciation for using chakra as they can directly feel the depletion of it when using it, and to avoid spastic abuse of vague chakra amounts; here you know how much you have and there is no such thing as someone with 25 chakra using ten S rank techniques etc.
Note: Chakra, as the other stats except for life force, automatically starts at 50. Your chakra automatically gains stats according to what your Strength, Speed and Endurance contains. Use the following formula: Strength + Speed + Endurance / 3 = Chakra Increase.
You may increase you chakra directly as well, gaining one chakra stat for each stat you put into chakra.
Players who only use Taijutsu and Bukijutsu may use the formula but divide by 2 instead of 3. Upon gaining a skill which is not Taijutsu or Bukijutsu, such as Ninjutsu, you must divide by 3 and loose the perk of being able to divide by 2.
- Clashes:
Wind (風, Kaze) is strong against Lightning but weak against Fire.
Rules/Guide:
The above are some very basic principles when comparing different elements. We would like to expand on this further. There will be situations, as stated above, where opposite elements might clash. In these scenarios the stronger element tends to prevail.
Elemental Jutsus with +150 power, strength or endurance can overcome or withstand its dominant other. This means a fire release technique can overcome a water release technique. In the anime, it took several water release users to deal with Madara's Great Fire Annihilation jutsu. Some of these will vary according to circumstances. NOT all techniques will be elemental, but the same principle applies.
Combing elements to boost a technique's power is also another possibility. For example, someone could combine wind and fire release to strengthen their jutsu. When this happens, the user will use the full power of one technique and half the power of the other. The same principle applies to technique speed, range and cost.
When dealing with techniques of the same nature, the higher-level technique will prevail and gain momentum. For example, a C-rank and B-rank wind release technique might clash. The B-rank under normal circumstances will prevail, while adding half the power of the opposing technique to its own.
SPEED VS SPEED
1. You must be at least 150 speed above someone, they only have time to perform a maximum of 2 hand signs or dash up to five meters. Any distance beyond that is situational.
2.Once you have a speed of 200 or more, someone needs to be at least 200 faster than you for the same affect; otherwise it is situational. Now this does not mean you are not faster than someone, but it does mean that situation will have to dictate. I might be faster than you, but there is distance between us, or things I can do to slow you down. Speed only becomes a major factor close range. Being fast does not mean you auto-dodge things - use common sense please. If you abuse the system, you will be fined by mods. Other than that, FIGURE IT OUT AND RP.
3. In order to avoid future unnecessary conflicts in the future, I will now implement the last rule which is a tribute to our philosophy that rp is not simply about numbers, but mainly about rp up unto a certain point. Going on that, we are simplifying the speed comparison with the following:
For rule one, you must be 150 in front of someone else's speed stat, and within 50 meters range, to be able to move faster than they can weave signs. If you are only 149, this rule DOES NOT COME INTO PLAY. If you are 150 stats above someone, and 40 meters away, you do not somehow gain extra speed, the SAME RULE APPLIES AS IF YOU WERE AT 50 METERS. If you are 150 ahead on someone in speed and 51 meters away, THIS RULE DOES NOT APPLY.
We are not going to play the tit for tat game; but rather plays general mile stones in the game that make it so that once you get to this level of advantage, a slight IC perk comes into play. Other than that, it is purely based on rp situation.
TLDR VERSION:
*YOU MUST MEET AT LEAST BOTH REQUIREMENTS TO HAVE THIS RULE PLAY A DEFINITE FACT IN IC BATTLE.
*OVERKILL OF THIS RULE IS NOT ALLOWED. MEANING IF YOU ARE ABOVE THE SPEED OR DISTANCE REQUIREMENT, YOU DO NOT GAIN A BOOST IN RELATIVE SPEED, NOR DO YOUR OPPONENTS GET SLOWER REACTION TIME.
For rule two, you must be at least 200 speed above someone with 200 speed or more and at 50 meters or less distance in order to move faster than they can weave signs. If you are 199 speed, this rule DOES NOT COME INTO PLAY. If you are 51 meters away, and have 400 speed on your opponent, THIS RULE DOES NOT COME INTO PLAY. If you are 400 speed on your opponent, and 50 meters away, the same rule applies as if you were 200 stats on your opponent at the same distance. Rules are meant to regulate, not to define. This is writing... We will not allow you to stack and somehow abuse the rules by being infinite in stat and therefore auto-hit everyone from everywhere. Only these two rules will exist for IC battles, everything else is subject to writer judgment, integrity, and if necessary - battle mod discernment.
TLDR VERSION:
*YOU MUST MEET AT LEAST BOTH REQUIREMENTS TO HAVE THIS RULE PLAY A DEFINITE FACT IN IC BATTLE.

4. How to deal with "Instant Activation" Jutsu
Due to the evolution of our site in terms of what is possible in terms of canon and custom jutsu, we will now address the use of "instant" jutsus. Many have used jutsu that require no handsign as an excuse to become invincible as well as unhitttable. We have a solution to that.
If someone launches an attack or tries to hit you moving at 400+ higher speed than your speed stat - you cannot activate instant activation techniques. Why? Because you cannot activate what you cannot react to. Once someone is 400+ stats faster than you, you are not able to activate jutsu, weave signs, or move more than a five meters. This attack must take place at 50 meters or lower range, and as always - things are circumstantial. If you are able to, via the situation, defend yourself properly - no problem. If you have already existing jutsu active that you use to defend yourself - that is situational. But you may not activate new jutsu in response to a move someone has made that is technically faster than you can react to.
STRENGTH VS ENDURANCE
1. Ah, this one is fun too. So, how strong before I can squash someone, you might ask? Well, in Naruto, just as people can potentially be freakishly strong, they can also be freakishly durable. We must counteract vast strength potential with vast durability potential; and we have. So these two stats mirror one another, to put it simply. For example, someone who has 100 endurance, can withstand blows of someone up to 100 strength. Whatever the 100 strength can throw, pick up, or dish out directly, the person of 100 durability can take. If both are equal, they cancel each other out. You can still hit and slightly hurt them, but nothing major by direct blows of strength.
The one comparative rule is this:
*In order to be strong enough to hurt someone, you must exceed their durability by your strength by 150 stats. Otherwise, you cannot deal severe damage.
Once you are 150 stats (or more) above someone, you are officially able to hurt them. Now, this does not mean auto kill, or one hit blow does the trick. It just means that blows that are 150 or more above someone's durability do severe damage and even fatal DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION I.E. USE COMMON SENSE. Breaking someone's arm and breaking someone's neck have differing consequences obviously; play the game guys.
ALSO, similar to the speed rules, these rules cannot be abused. Meaning, that if you are more than 150 strength than someone, you do not get to auto-hurt them MORE than someone who is at 150 strength above their durability. THERE IS NO ABUSING OR SPAMMING THIS RULE, AND YOU MUST MEET AT LEAST THE EXACT REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER FOR IT TO COME INTO PLAY IC.
If you are 149 above someone, YOU CANNOT HURT THEM SEVERELY. We are, as I said above, not playing tit for tat, and we do not care how unfair or illogical a few of you think this is. The game is about rp, and we have to balance between rp and excess stat abuse - therefore these rules exist. This rule cannot be elongated or extended; once you are above 150 you can now severely damage; no more, no less than someone who has a stat advantage of above 150.
2. For those who have 300 or more endurance, a special rule comes into play. Obviously this will be VERY few people; but nevertheless we want to make this clear. For these people, your strength must be 200 above in order to seriously dish it out to them. In other words, if I am fighting a Full armored Susanoo, in order to break through it completely, my blow needs to be at least 500 strength. Seems impossibly high? That is not by accident There are very few freaks who can dish out a PHYSICAL BLOW strong enough to wound a susanoo seriously. Very few have done it, and those were tai masters with technique boosts and a possibly weakened susanoo armor. This does not mean Jutsu may not be able to do the trick, but you will have to truly be a strength specialist to pull of that kind of feat on strength alone.
JUTSU VS ENDURANCE
Ok, this will be short. Jutsu only have to be 50 strength ahead of your endurance stat to hit and likely kill you (depending on whether or not your lightning cutter hits their arm or neck; use common sense). Now, that being said, just because you are 50 ahead of a jutsu does not mean you can completely tank it. It can still hurt you and if used smart enough - kill you; but that is situational. The general idea is that if you are 50 ahead of it you are generally speaking going to survive, but it would not be wise to try and tank that.
* If you are 150 above a jutsu in your endurance vs its strength, than you can tank it. Otherwise, it may possibly take you out.
*Once jutsu strength is 400 or above, you must be +200 to tank it. Same other rules apply.
WEAPONS VS ENDURANCE
For Legendary weapons and custom made weapons, the rules are the same as jutsu. They only have to be 50 strength ahead of your endurance stat to hit and potentially kill you; situation will dictate. Now, that being said, just because you are 50 ahead of a weapon does not mean you can completely tank it. It can still hurt you and if used smart enough - kill you; but that is situational. The general idea is that if you are 50 ahead of it you are generally speaking going to survive, but it would not be wise to try and tank that.
* If you are 100 above a weapon in your endurance vs its strength, than you can tank it.
*Once jutsu strength is 400 or above, you must be +200 to tank it. Same other rules apply.

Description: By focusing and opening the mind's eye, the user is able to find and track an individual's chakra over a vast distance that exceeds the capabilities of those below this level. By further focusing their chakra, it also gives the user the capability to perceive fluctuations in a person's chakra made when a person is lying or if someone, including themselves , is under a Genjutsu. Also, by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive the target's movements and surrounding area with great detail. These sensory capabilities grants the user with abilities that even surpass dōjutsu with comparable powers. Must abide by the sensory rules. User gains +200 Meters to jutsu sensory range. You may also be able to further extend this range if sensory skills are higher than A-rank. At this point you would use the higher amount plus the bonus that the Jutsu gives. Description: The user gathers the wind release around themselves, or an enemy; compressing it into a visible, but transparent sphere. A sphere can only be created within the user's vision; within the given range parameters of the technique. Air can be seen condensing around the opponent before the actual sphere takes form requiring 1 post of preparation to capture an enemy. This sphere traps opponents or can be used to defend an attack. Due to the nature of the technique; opponents caught will asphyxiate and are under enough pressure to where movement is nullified. After 1 post of being caught, the target will lose consciousness from loss of oxygen. However, the user can reduce the pressure so that they themselves can breathe and move within the chamber. The sphere itself is also quite destructive. When its form is released, it will generate a spherical burst of wind. This causes anything within 5 meters to be blown outward from its epicenter.

Description: Applying both the principles of shape transformation and nature; the user generates compressed arrows of wind that are sharp enough to piece through enemies. The arrows formed through this technique are generated from the user’s palm and form a single arrow that multiplies into five additional arrows upon release. These arrows can be guided directly to a visible target within range and are entirely flat, varying within sizes of up to a foot in width top to bottom, or side to side. If the user's vision is blocked from the location of the arrows, the user can no longer guide the arrows so long as their vision is blocked. These arrows follow their intended trajectory until their range is capped. The arrows can connect with the user’s palm and extend in a linear fashion. They can also be launched as separate pieces as well. At the users will or on contact; these arrows will release their compressed state in an explosion of razor wind inflicting concussive cutting damage for the range of the technique. This technique also requires the Razor Massacre to be active.

Description: A Genjutsu triggered by the enemy seeing a sudden downpour of clear rain in the likeness of real rain with their eyes. By closing their eyes or otherwise obscuring their vision; they can avoid seeing this downpour and thus avoid the Genjutsu. After caught with this technique; the target is drenched in this downpour which envelopes them. Unable to visualize the real plain of reality; the rain drops will fall infinitely and will not dissipate or absorb into the ground. This causes the affected target to drown; seemingly on the physical plane. This happens at an incredibly fast pace in the victim’s psyche immediately when they are caught. This causes severe mental damage if not released immediately due to the perceived inability to breath, and distress. This reduces the victim’s Speed -25 and Strength -25 stats per post captured by this technique temporarily for 2 posts; even if it is no longer active. On the second post; the target loses their sense of touch. On the third post; the target loses consciousness for 1 post. Lasts 8 posts maximum.

Description: This technique originates a ring of wind-natured chakra from the user’s body like a hula-hoop. The circular hoop which surrounds and expands from the user, is horizontally flat and has a sharp edge to cut. The user can discharge these rings from their body depending on their height. They may only shoot these rings from within the boundaries of their vertical physique. Meaning they can be shot anywhere from the body between the bottom of the feet and top of the head. They can only be shot horizontally. The rings cap out at the technique's max range depending on level and will dissipate harmlessly. Each rank of this technique is to be purchased separately.

Description: With this technique, upon the completion of the specified hand seals as the trigger; the user with their chakra, casts a spherical, invisible incorporeal aura around themselves. This is only visible to dojutsu users and can be sensed by a C-Rank Sensor with their technique active. This forms a Genjutsu barrier; using the caster as the epicenter. The barrier moves as the user does maintaining a fixed distance ratio. When an enemy enters the radius of the barrier, they are instantly cast into a powerful Genjutsu of the user’s choosing. The Genjutsu gains +200 power. The enemy must enter this radius after the technique is already active and will not be affected if the technique is cast while they are inside of this radius. They would have to exit the radius, then enter back into it to be affected. The purpose of this technique is to allow the user more versatility when layering Genjutsu. This technique has no indication of its usage besides the seals needed to initiate the technique. However, since this is chakra; it can be seen by certain Dojutsu or sensed by a B-Rank level sensor or higher. Sensors below A-Rank cannot pinpoint the exact location; they will only know that chakra is underground. When the enemy touches the ground within the radius of the technique, which is 5 meters from where the tip touched the ground; the technique instantly bursts upwards in a cylindrical blast of sharp and dense cutting wind. There is enough air pressure within the cylinder to easily crush a human-being; meaning movement is not possible. Breathing within it is not possible and the enemy captured by this attack will suffer damage to their chakra circulatory system from the microscopic blades created by the compressed wind release losing 25% of their Life Force if hit by this technique. The user may set up to 5 of these traps before a 5 post cooldown.

Description: The user applies a transformation technique specifically designed for Wind Release techniques. This allows them to take the form of any physical object, person, or substance much like a generic E-Rank transformation. The user can release the form of the transformation at will and can initiate this technique remotely as a deception tactic. Generally, unless used on a stationary wind release technique, the object will need to be capable of motion through the air. In example things such as a kunai/shuriken or ball. Stationary wind release techniques can take the form of even humans or buildings. This technique grants visual tangibility to the visually intangible wind release if it does not appear as a physical form such as a blade. A large wind blade can instead take the form of a small shuriken up until it makes contact. What is there visually is only a disguise and cannot interact with anything. Massacre Fist: The Massacre Fist (虐殺の拳, Gyakusatsu No Ken) is an ancient Taijutsu style originating from the Metsuki faction of the Konowari. The purpose of this style is to increase the users speed and strength using their Razor Massacre ability to deliver extremely precise and deadly Muay Thai. The user decreases the air pressure surrounding their physique to the greatest extent possible; able to create directional currents of rapidly moving wind to propel their close-combat attacks. These currents are refined to the outline of the user’s physique; giving no physical indication of its usage except the force of the wind. This means this propelling force can be applied to generate power from awkward angles the user would normally be unable to accomplish. This vastly increases their speed and reaction speed; using the extreme wind release to propel their physical appendages toward targets for more quick and damaging strikes. This style also increases the effectiveness of grappling, submissions, and take-downs; often allowing the user to apply directional momentum to their limbs, increasing their strength in tight spaces with little room to maneuver. Description: Within range of this technique anywhere the user can see with their eyesight; using the Razor Massacre ability, the user takes control of air molecules with chakra causing them to collapse in an implosion at a single point. This creates a stationary pocket void that generates an intense suction. This technique is capable of lifting anything with strength AND(Meaning Both) endurance below the power of this technique; unless held by some adhesive including generic Tree Climbing. With strength OR(Meaning either) endurance +100 of this technique’s power; this suction can be resisted without adhesive. If anyone contacts the epicenter with endurance below 200, they will be crushed; their remains sucked into this pocket dimension leaving no trace they existed. This dimension is inaccessible to any other space-time techniques, even by the user, due to the nature of its natural formation. The purpose of this technique is not to capture or to kill the enemy with the void; it is to generate an omnidirectional suction that doubles the speed of all Wind Release techniques in its range while active. The void itself is completely black internally with distortions of space-time visible on it's outer rim; the suction adding to the visual effect of the space-time distortions. It is also the size of a penny in physical dimension. It can be seen by the necked eye as a penny-sized black hole in the fabric of space. The implosion from this technique causes no damage. This technique can be used up to 2 times before a 6 post cooldown and each usage lasts 3 posts. When one void is created within the range of another, and a Wind Release technique is used within this overlapping range; it gains +25% of its total already doubled speed. This technique can be destroyed by any technique equal to its power regardless of elemental strengths/weaknesses. Techniques used to destroy this technique also gain +25% of their base power when drawn in by the suction. This does not apply for Taijutsu or Genjutsu techniques. When using a Taijutsu technique to try and destroy the void it must be at least +100 power or(Either) strength greater than this technique's power to destroy it. The user of the Taijutsu must also have at least 200 endurance to survive physical contact.
