    Description: A simple in theory but difficult in practice technique, this allows the user to extend the range of his taijutsu attacks through the creation of a vacuum of pressure. In its basic formulation this can be any physical attack, such as a kick, punch, finger thrust, headbutt, etc. On the other hand, the user can combine this with a different taijutsu technique by paying twenty chakra, which will extend that range per the range of this jutsu but take the power and speed of the used taijutsu technique. In either form, the rapid and slightly twisting motion of the body shaves a kind of bullet (as with a thrust) or crescent (as with a sweeping motion like a kick) of distorted space that propagates forward and bludgeons whatever it hits. This propagation of pure force can easily shatter bones, crush organs, and destroy objects with endurance less than its power and would feel somewhat like getting hit by a black or rod of iron. This distortion can happen in any fluid, though not in solid media, and is not comprised of chakra, though chakra is used to enhance the body during the motions of the strike. Appears as a clear distortion, like a heat shimmer. If moving through a liquid (water), speed of Taijutsu-oriented techniques or otherwise is reduced by 25% of the speed of the technique being used in conjugation with this skill.

    Description: A grappling style technique used within the Sensho school which infuses fire nature chakra into the attack in place of the more traditional wind nature chakra. By grabbing or grappling someone or having them in some sort of hold or lock, the Sensho user can expel a gout of fire chakra to immolate the grasped area, applying a small burn. With proper holds and locks this can even destroy entire limbs from opponents who position themselves poorly and is a good counter to people who like to grab the user. The fire does not harm the one who uses this, obviously.

    Description: This is a specialized take on the basic genjutsu kai technique aided by the tremendous power and pain generated by the manipulation of the Eight Gates. Should the user find himself trapped within a genjutsu and become aware of such an event, he can pulse chakra through his body, specifically targeting the gates which he knows how to unlock. This sudden disruption of chakra is nearly identical to a traditional kai, but the opening of a fraction of the power of the gate increased the chakra flux and drives a brief and instant spike of pain through the user's body. This follows all of the rules of genjutsu kai and the genjutsu system in general for breaking genjutsu, such as the user must have enough gen points to disrupt the illusion, and he can combine his points when attempting to break someone else out of an illusion. Unlike the regular Genjutsu Kai, this cannot be used to free an ally. This technique can function as a parent technique from which to create more specific Kai derivatives that use more specialized functions of the Hachimon.

    Extend the range of a punch or kick by 100 meters? Stands 100 meters away..kicks...vacuum of pressure travels 100 meters. At most I would allow 10 meters. And again extending other techs by 100 meters=no.

    Is this pure physical force you're using? Can I be seen? Can it be blocked? Is there a power cap? It says its based on user's power.

    +40 Chakra in addition to the 50 it costs. I will ask for the power of this to be reduced to 400. Users with high enough endurance can obviously withstand it and not be affected. Reducing the effects of healing is also a no.

    1.No to extra 200 Gen points.

    100 - A cut by a kunai or some minor open wound inflicted. You should be bleeding or burned to the point of pain.

    200 - Damage now that will require healing to the average person as it will now mean fully injured by a blow to a bone or serious cut to the flesh that is bleeding profusely.

    300 - Here is where it gets dangerous. You must break a bone, stab the person to the point of a potentially fatal wound, burn them with second-degree burns, or electrocute them.

    400+ - This requires risking the victim's life as they must sustain a near fatal injury by the breaking of a vital organ, electrocution to the point of incapacitation, third degree burn etc.

    That's what it takes to break out of Genjutsu. Now then using the gates sure, cool way to get around it. But not going to fly. I need to know what effects this has on your body. Seeing as the more powerful the Genjutsu is, the more it takes to break it. Also, you breaking out of Gen as you know also depends on the Genjutsu itself. Activating the gates may not always be a viable option.

    So yes, it can be seen. Of... course it can be blocked? Honestly not sure if that's as serious question. Forgot about tai stuff; edited stats to match.

    White Mansion Lake Escape: Already discussed in Discord; will be allowing Sam to have say over this.

    Cracked Floor in the Mausoleum: Removed 200 gen points. Will add back in when we decide things can boost gen points, but until then sure.

    You break gen by using Genjutsu Kai in accordance with your gen points. Genjutsu kai allows you to pay the chakra amount equal amount to the rank of the technique that you are under. However you may only do this with techniques that are equal to or less than the amount of Gen Points you have. So I have 300 gen points, and I am hit with a B rank genjutsu that has 300 in power, I may use gen kai to overcome it by paying the amount of chakra for a B rank technique. If it is 150pts more than my Gen points, I cannot break it by this method.

    This is actually what it takes to break out of genjutsu. The above method you quoted is the last-ditch-stab-myself method, which this technique is specifically not a part of. This is a flavor text of genjutsu kai, which is what the jutsu specifically says. Honestly I'm not really sure what, if anything, you're asking here. It's genjutsu kai with the gates as an extra oomf to power.

    Suggestions for Alteration:

    Read First: For this jutsu, Power directly correlates to which degree of burn is immediately inflicted upon contact. If Endurance of the target is EQUAL TO or HIGHER than the Power of this technique, the following contact table applies. Exceptions are listed below. In the instance that the targets Endurance is equal to, or higher than this techniques power, each consecutive post of maintained physical contact results in an additional degree of damage to the affected limb.

    Target Endurance:

    • 125 (1/4 of Power): Immediate fourth degree burn.
    • 250 (2/4 of Power): Immediate third degree burn.
    • 375 (3/4 of Power): Immediate second degree burn.
    • 500 (Equal to Power): Immediate first degree burn.



    • Initial Contact: 1st Degree Burn, considered mild compared to other burns. They results in immediate pain and reddening of the epidermis (outer layer of the skin). This is considered mildly superficial, affects only the outer layer of skin. The burn site is red, painful and dry but with no visible blisters.

    • Secondary Post (Maintaining Contact): 2nd Degree Burn, directly affects epidermis and part of the lower layer of skin, the dermis. The burn site appears red, blistered, and becomes extremely swollen and painful. Results in blisters and an increased level of pain. Renders the limb unable to produce Chakra, essentially burning the Tenketsu of the opponent.

    • Third Post (Maintaining Contact): 3rd Degree Burn, results in immediate destruction of the epidermis and dermis. Searing flame penetrates into the innermost layer of skin, the subcutaneous tissue. The burn site may look white or blackened and charred. Renders the limb useless as the opponent begins to suffer from symptoms of shock.

    • Fourth Post (Maintaining Contact): 4th Degree Burn, flame directly penetrates and virtually destroys both layers of the skin and underlying tissue as well as deeper tissue, involving muscle and bone. While no pain is felt, due to a the nerve endings in the limb now having been entirely decimated. This causes the limb to essentially become entirely useless in terms of movement and chakra production/channelation.

      Target begins to suffer from more intense symptoms of shock, including a rapid pulse, heightened breathing, nausea, dizziness and dilated pupils. If contact is maintained and the affected area is located on the torso, neck, head/face, the opponent may suffer from a heart attack or immediate cardiac arrest as a result of organ failure.

      Furthermore, if at this degree the target ultimately survives the attack, or contact is broken, if left untreated the limb will suffer from a permanent form of septicemia; essentially a bacterial infection that spreads throughout the vascular system of the body. If untreated within 7 (Seven) days of being affected, the affected individual contracts sepsis, causing severe inflammation and pain throughout the body. This inflammation causes blood clots and blocks oxygen from reaching vital organs and results in organ failure on the seventh day. However, if the target maintains extremely low blood pressure and remains untreated by the 5th (fifth) day after contact, they suffer from septic shock and results in immediate death.


    Treatment Requirements:

    • First Degree Burn Treatment: Requires treatment from a Medical Ninjutsu (2) Apprentice.
      - Limb remains unusable for 48 hours after treatment. (2 Days).

    • Second Degree Burn Treatment: Requires treatment from a Medical Ninjutsu (3) Adept.
      - Limb remains unusable for 72 hours after treatment. (3 Days).

    • Third Degree Burn Treatment: Requires treatment from a Medical Ninjutsu (4) Master.
      - Limb remains unusable for 96 hours after treatment. (4 Days).

    • Fourth Degree Burn Treatment: Requires treatment from a Medical Ninjutsu (5) God.
      - Limb remains unusable for 120 hours after treatment. (5 Days).

    Change from B-Rank to A-Rank.

    Range Reduction from 100 Meters to 60 Meters (196 Feet Additional Range)

    Instead of a blade-like slicing effect, a smashing or force-producing repulsion effect would be more akin to Taijutsu-oriented attacks such as this. So, instead of "easily pierce or cut other objects or bodies and behaves like a blade." - I'd like to see: "easily create a crushing effect similar to a pressure based attack or force which behaves much like a mace or hammer, the power of the technique used in conjugation ultimately deciding how the force is applied and what damage occurs on contact".

    "This distortion can happen in any fluid, though not in solid media, and is not comprised of chakra" - Additionally include that any technique utilizing this style of combat moves 25% slower than the speed of the technique used in conjugation with it while traveling through a liquid such as water.

    Recommended Alterations:

    I personally don't see much wrong with this. The only requests I have are for the following:


    • Alteration 1: While using this as a touch-oriented technique to release another person from a Genjutsu, I'd like to see that you must maintain  physical contact with that person for 1 full post before the interruption takes effect (on your target).

    • Alteration 2: Specify that the range of the potential for your release of the illusion upon yourself (not the target/ally) is dependent on the Rank of Genjutsu being used upon you in correlation to the required Gate Unlock, and upon using this, your body undergoes the same drawbacks that it would if you were to traditionally unlock the aforementioned gate. However, instead of suffering the drawbacks permanently like you would normally - the effects of the unlock last for a predetermined length of time following post(s) after this variation Kai is initiated.


    Breakdown of Release Effects & Temporary Drawbacks:

    D Rank Genjutsu:

    The user suffers drawbacks from the release of Gate 1 (Gate of Opening), and furthermore is used as the supplementary traditional method of Genjutsu Kai, though minor, the pain is temporarily stagnant and momentary; only lasting for the duration of the post in which this technique is used. Drawbacks of the release no longer effect the user on their following post.

    C-B Rank Genjutsu:

    The user suffers drawbacks from the release of Gate 2 and 3 (Gate of Healing & Gate of Life, respectively), though the pain slightly higher than that of the D-Rank variation is temporarily stagnant and momentary; only lasting for the duration of the post in which this technique is used as well as their following post. Drawbacks of the release no longer effect the user on their secondary post after release.

    A-S Rank Genjutsu:

    The user suffers drawbacks from the release of Gate 4, 5 and 6 (Gate of Pain, Gate of Limit & Gate of View, respectively). Unlike the releases from D/C/B-Rank, the user may cause muscle tissue to tear on use (S-Rank Kai Release), as well as increased blood flow - turning the skin users skin red on use (A-Rank Kai Release), not excluding a lingering pain in the abdomen from the Gate of Limit; Only lasting for the duration of the post in which this technique is used as well as their following 2 posts.

    SS-X Rank Genjutsu:

    The user suffers drawbacks from the release of Gate 7 and 8 (Gate of Wonder & Gate of Death, respectively). Upon use, the user expels a burst of green and blue chakra which surrounds their body for the remainder of that post, and sweat from every inch of their body which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy (this does not negate or weaken other techniques in contact with the user such as Water Release techniques) and creates an momentary aura which inexperienced onlookers may mistake as a chakra coating. Side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibers are ripped to shreds, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches them on use (SS-Rank Kai Release).

    Additionally, release of the final degree of this Kai will cause the user's blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam, the so-called Steam of Blood, from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows. Releasing Genjutsu requiring unlocking of this gate uses up all of the body's energy while making the heart pump at maximum power, the only exception being that the user does not die after the effects wear off, unlike when traditionally releasing the Gate of Death (X-Rank Release), but does suffer from incredibly extreme muscle tearing.

    The aesthetic effects, albeit temporary, aren't as severe as the physical toll undergone after release - while lasting for the duration of the post in which this technique is used as well as their following 3 posts. During the four post duration (Initial Release, following Post 1>Post 2>Post 3), the user suffers from almost unbearable pain, greatly hindering physical movement (1/2 (50%) of their current Speed Statistic), the extreme pain only subsiding on the users fourth post after release, at which time their speed returns to normal and pain is no longer felt as a side effect.

    Important Information/Additional Note: The effects of each respective release only affect the user if being used to release themselves from a Genjutsu, and this same rule applies when using this technique to release an ally from a Genjutsu (though the ally himself/herself does not suffer from these drawbacks, and only experience just enough of a shock of pain or chakra-oriented interruption to release the targeted ally from a Genjutsu).

    Description: A simple in theory but difficult in practice technique, this allows the user to extend the range of his taijutsu attacks through the creation of a vacuum of pressure.     Description: A grappling style technique used within the Sensho school which infuses fire nature chakra into the attack in place of the more traditional wind nature chakra. By grabbing or grappling someone or having them in some sort of hold or lock, the Sensho user can expel a gout of fire chakra to immolate the grasped area, applying a small burn. With proper holds and locks this can even destroy entire limbs from opponents who position themselves poorly and is a good counter to people who like to grab the user.     Ok, I took the 1st suggestion and just removed the ability to use this on ally's all together, so only regular Kai would work with an ally via touch. As of now, I would like for this to just function based on the current gen point vs gen power, but I think I will snap up those suggestions of yours for some additional branch techniques down the road.     Description: This is a specialized take on the basic genjutsu kai technique aided by the tremendous power and pain generated by the manipulation of the Eight Gates. Should the user find himself trapped within a genjutsu and become aware of such an event, he can pulse chakra through his body, specifically targeting the gates which he knows how to unlock. This sudden disruption of chakra is nearly identical to a traditional kai, but the opening of a fraction of the power of the gate increased the chakra flux and drives a brief and instant spike of pain through the user's body. This follows all of the rules of genjutsu kai and the genjutsu system in general for breaking genjutsu, such as the user must have enough gen points to disrupt the illusion, and he can combine his points when attempting to break someone else out of an illusion.
