    kahya-app

    Name: Lei, Kahya
Nickname: Doko no Kahya or Kahya of Nowhere
    Age: 21
    Gender: Female

    Height: 5'4"
    Weight: 121 lbs
Appearance: Though she's on the younger side in terms of age, Kahya has a very mature look to her. It's not uncommon for people to assume she's in her thirties or older due to the way her face looks. Her eyes are a sky blue, a color that had once earned her the nickname of Blue. Those who called her that were noticeably uncreative. Upon meeting her, some of her most noticeable features tend to stick out, such as her long silver hair, though she has it tied up most of the time buy her shuriken-shaped tie, and her eccentric way of dress. Her attire normally consists of a kimoni-inspired sleeveless indigo dress that she ties with a red thick red ribbon. When she wears this dress it's easy to see her body shape and size, with Kahya donning an hourglass figure and large breasts. She wears long black socks and gloves, with the gloves going up to her elbows and the socks stopping halfway up the thigh. Both are somewhat transparent and have the Lei family symbol embroidered at the trim. Kahya also wears black Tabi that happen to be roughly the same color as her socks so they appear to be long shoes, along with a gold necklace with the Lei family symbol around her neck.

When in battle, gloves she normally wears gain the addition of red leather straps at the top of them, stopping just short of her shoulders, along with indigo cloth that is attached to either of her middle fingers and is pinned into the red leather piece.

    Land: Amegakure
    Character Rank: D
    Clan: N/A
    Element: Fire

Personality: To those that meet Kahya for the first time, they would first notice her kindness. Kahya tends to introduce herself in a very soft and welcoming tone, with her word choice being the nicest it can be as she likes to leave a good impression on people. She doesn't see a point in being rude or nasty to people she doesn't know or just people in general. She's quite benevolent and optimistic in the worst situations, with her overall outlook on life being on the positive side. Kahya likes to smile so she often searches for the most entertaining way to complete her tasks, even if it requires her more time to get it done. She enjoys bothering people because the reaction she gets back are entertaining enough for her to continue and pass by the time. It's not difficult to make Kahya jealous as she has a short temper and can get violent very quickly if her rage goes unchecked.

When she is on a mission or is taked with an objective, Kahya is much more focused and collected, though she is still quite talkative and outgoing like normal. Her focus increases drastically however, with her being able to multi-task alarmingly well compared to her everyday self. Kahya is the type of combatant who taunts their opponent with constant banter, though it's not to attack the psychologically. She just likes to talk a lot. Death is probably one of the hardest things for her to deal with as she has only experienced it through family pets, and even then she would be destroyed emotionally for a week or so. While Kahya tries to act tough to be a sort of role model for others, she in reality is quite fragile.

Some of her likes consist of sunsets, the thrill of combat, mischief, and any form of art. It's common for Kahya to stop and listen to the sounds of the rain pattering, or the street musician playing his flute. Her dislikes are snow, cold temperature, dogs, and letting her hair down.
Character History: Kahya is not actually from the Lei family as one would normally assume, she's not even from Amegakure either.

Kahya was born in Takegakure as the daughter of a fisherman and his wife. Kahya was born at probably the worst time possible for her parents, with her father's debts rising at an incredible rate and his mother was getting more ill by the day due to a disease she had contracted during childbirth that had left her bedridden for the rest of her life. At the time, both of her parents had known that they were in no position nor had the time to raise a child but for a few months, they had tried but ultimately failed. They had tried multiple different methods to make their situation somewhat better, even turning to sell their child's body and allowing a monster to be sealed inside of her in hopes for some more money. So upon Kahya's first birthday they had given her to a wandering merchant before going back to their lives.

This merchant wasn't really a merchant but were just selling wares at the time, in actuality she was a courier hailing from Amegakure. She was in Takegakure for business but did not expect to take a baby back with her. This woman's name was Chaya Lei, and back home in Amegakure her husband was a samurai and she had 2 kids of her own. But Chaya was not against having another child as she had recently wanted to have another, and with the adoption of Kahya into the Lei family had brought her and her husband joy.

Out of the family, Kahya was the youngest and probably everyone's favorite. She had gotten along with her sisters surprisingly well, they would rarely ever fight with each other, and she got along with her new father even better. See, Kahya's eldest sister wanted to pursue a trade while her other sister had wanted to become a medical ninja. Kahya was the only one out of the family who had an interest in studying the blade as her father had, which had given them a special bond that he didn't have with anyone else. He would often tell Kahya that he wished she were a boy because she was the son that he never had. These kinds of remarks, while joking in nature, did have an effect on her as she had pushed harder to make both of her parents proud. She had started her samurai training when she was 13 and officially finished it when she was 16. During that time she was also taught the basic ninja skills by her sister and in her free time she would try to experiment with what she could do and ended up crafting some useful abilities.

There was another aspect of her life that while it weighed on her, she tried to ignore. See, the monster that was sealed inside of her was Matatabi, the Two Tailed Beast. She was too young at the time to really remember this event but she had a scar to show for it. On her chest is a large seal that's used to keep the beast in check. Matatabi had a sort of hands-off approach to much of Kahya's life. Rarely would he speak to her and rarely would he alter her life in someway, so in these situations Kahya had just explained these occurences as a sort of coincidence.

In recent years, Kahya has officially aligned herself with the Amegakure, not being recognized as an official ninja but as someone who still works for them. Her mother has retired, her father has gone blind, and her sisters are about in the world living their lives.
